Carlos was raised in Miami by Cuban parents. Collyn grew up in Bellevue. Together, with six kids and a tiny food truck, they spent months perfecting his mother's generational recipes.

What started as Milanes Mobile is now a brick-and-mortar corner in McKees Rocks Plaza. They stripped wallpaper, hung Cuban artwork, and lined the counter with Panama hats and a thrifted neon juke box, all to make Western Pennsylvania feel, for a minute, like a Havana alleyway.
